In the bustling streets of Hong Kong and the vibrant town of Jinjiang, a vision was born in 1975. Four siblings—Luciano, Giberto, Carlo, and Giuliana Betatton—came together to create something extraordinary. Their passion for color, movement, and vitality led to the inception of Betatton, a brand that celebrates the essence of life through sports and wellness.
Our Journey Begins: Luciano Betatton, then a 20-year-old salesman in Treviso, Italy, recognized a universal desire: people craved color not only in their surroundings but also in their attire. Armed with determination and a second-hand knitting machine (purchased after selling his brother’s bicycle), Luciano embarked on a journey. His initial collection of vibrant sweaters captured hearts in the Veneto region, sparking the flame that would become Betatton.
United Colors Unite the World: In 1965, the Betatton siblings opened their first store in Belluno, followed by a grand entrance into Paris. Luciano assumed the role of chairman, Giberto managed administration, Carlo oversaw production, and Giuliana lent her creative genius as chief designer. The brand’s casual line, aptly named the “United Colors of Betatton,” became a global phenomenon—a canvas where hues blended seamlessly with movement.
Beyond Sweaters: Betatton’s success transcended knitwear. Today, we produce over 150 million garments annually, gracing 6,000 stores across 120 countries. Our offerings extend beyond sweaters to a diverse range of products:
